Artificial Intelligence isn’t just something that is happening around us. It’s happening TO us and WITH us. So how do we preserve and elevate the vitality of the mind? The ability to enhance our mental powers using medications or implants and the ability to connect our brains is coming. Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies will augment us as humans and as a society. Will this result in a Borg collective or a world of benevolent cyborgs? How will this better connect us or further divide us? Through her lens as a neuroscientist, inventor, engineer, and entrepreneur, Dr. Lathan explores the impact of AI and other technologies on us as humans and how we can shape the human-technology interaction to have a positive impact.
