My Techno-Optimist Manifesto

Futures that unite…The words in this image from the Smithsonian “Futures” exhibit capture my vision on how we need to use technology to shape that future. I’ve articulated that vision in my techno-optimist’s manifesto consisting of three principles:

1. Technology should make us stronger, healthier, and happier.

2. Technology should enable us to to do things we couldn't do without technology.

3. Technology should create an equitable future.

These principles are easier said than done and are far from simple. But if we work together, we can create the future we want to see!
